We informed you about Intel entering the mobile phone segment during CES 12. The first were┬áSanta Clara┬áand┬áLava Xolo. Now I will show you yet another phone powered by IntelÔÇÖs Medfield processor, the first of its type. The market already has a lot of expectations from this phone. ItÔÇÖs Lenovo which is ready to launch Intel powered Smartphone in the beginning of Q2 of this year. Intel powered Lenovo K800 phone debuts┬áin China. Until then, we have no news on the potential of the 1.6GHz Atom Z2460 powering Android 4.0. But we do have possibly the next best thing for now! What we've just obtained are some standard results from a K800 prototype with Android 2.3.7. However, the Lenovo K800 did beat pretty much everyone including - HTCÔÇÖs new One X┬áand One S┬á- in the Sun Spider 0.91 JavaScript test, where it just took 1.2 seconds to complete! Only test remains is whether the new Medfield will yield better Battery performance than its so called competitors. ItÔÇÖs a pretty thick phone so it may not fit your tight jeans.

Some of the best features this phone holds are:

  • A 1.6GHz Intel processor,
  • A 4.5-inch
  • 720p HD TFT display
  • ┬áAn 8-megapixel camera
  • ┬áA WCDMA HSPA+ 21Mbps wireless radio
  • ┬á802.11n Wi-Fi
  • ┬áBluetooth 3.0, and GPS onboard.

It's also got WiDi onboard, which Lenovo says "enables screen sync to a TV at 720p30." So until we find an answer on a concluding unit, you will have to hold your breath for a while.
