Samsung versus Apple debates have continued to flare as early as the start of the noted patent infringement suits and conflicts between the two giants. To establish its superiority and upheld its iPad heritage, Apple has recently launched the “New iPad” a.k.a “iPad 3″ to battle which Samsung has an ace too, the “Galaxy Note 10.1“. We have prepared this detailed comparison for both powerhouses and let you decide which is better because I am in no mood to get in the middle of the tug-of-war!

# Performance – Galaxy Note 10.1 vs The new iPad

The new iPad a.k.a iPad 3 is a powerhouse packing in Apple’s Quad-Core A5X Chip with a speed of 1GHz that delivers high performance and is very gentle on the system consuming low power. It is designed to deliver the so called “pixel-perfect performance” The RAM memory of the new iPad is 1GB.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 on the other hand is no less a stunner. It has a ridiculously fast 1.4GHz Quad-Core Exynos processor and 2GB of RAM. The specs so on paper are much higher than any other main-stream mobile device but in day-to-day use, the Note seems to lag a bit during multi-tasking and flipping homescreens in case of Widget-heavy layouts.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 isn’t much of a cracker in this aspect, it embeds a standard 10.1-inch, WXGA LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels without 1080p support but has solid viewing angles. The screen is standard for normal uses but if compared to that of the new iPad its definitely quite below its level.
