After the grand success of Call Of Duty Black Ops, Activision is coming back with its second edition, Call Of Duty Black Ops 2. Black Ops was the most acclaimed and the highest selling title in the COD series. It sold 5.6 million copies within 24 hours of its release and also earned the title of the most selling title of all time in the US, UK and Europe.

Black Ops had some innovative features such as Wager matches where players could bet points on multiplayer matches. It also introduced us to the RC-XDs which were used to divert the soldiers on the battlefield. Another innovative though funny feature was the Zombies round that the player could play after finishing the campaign. It ran on an enhanced World at War engine and featured streaming texture technology which made its graphics really exciting.

Activision earned over $1 billion for the COD: Black Ops title alone. This means that Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 will be even more exciting and Treyarch will try their level best to better their previous record. As of now, there have been several leaks pointing to a reveal on April 28th but now it is rumoured to be revealed on May 1st. This will be the ninth title in the Call Of Duty series.

Features of the new title are not yet fully revealed but we have reports that there will no longer be RC-XDs in the game and combat training will return with some improvements. But we haven’t got any reports on substantial changes in the game mechanics or the general gameplay. They will be known soon with the impending announcement.

COD: Black Ops 2 will most probably be released in November this year. You can buy Black Ops 2 (when it is available) from the given link. You can check out their site for more info and news about the next big COD title.
