Finally the long wait is over !!. Yeah guys AT&T has at last announced the release dates of the Nokia Lumia 900 and HTC Titan II. Both the phones will be released on 8th of April. If anyone wants to get their hands on the TITAN II and don’t mind signing a contract with AT&T for 2 years, they will end up paying a very modest sum of $ 199.
So what do you get for paying this sum?? Well for a start you get a Windows based LTE device which means blazing quick internet speeds on the go. A very capable and mind-numbing 16 MP camera, a monster S-LCD touch screen (4.7 inch) with WVGA resolution and with a equally humongous Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. This is definitely a must buy for any HTC fan boy.
Well if HTC is going to provide a Windows phone, can anybody leave Nokia far behind?? Nokia showed us their Lumia 900 at the MWC and AT&T has decided to launch this product on the 8th of April too.
However there is a catch to the pricing of this phone , Ladies and Gentlemen please hold on to your hats it just costs $99.99 for a 2 year contract. Why is it so lowly priced ?? One possible explanation could be the fact that Nokia is not willing to take any chances with this product. They know its their flagship phone and has to sell well in the US. Even with a very capable camera, a beautiful screen and a refreshingly new OS, Nokia didn’t manage to do very well with their previous Lumia’s. So the pricing has been kept deliberately low.
The Nokia Lumia 900 has a 4.3 inch AMOLED display and an 8 MP Carl Zeiss lens with a very nippy processor.(1.4 GHz). How well will this device do? is a question that can be answered only by time in future. How ever till then you may let us know what you feel about the Lumia 900.
