Use Windows 8 Just Like the Old 7: The Classic Desktop (Updated)

UPDATE- We have a better method now. Go here.
Windows 8 is like wonderland with its radical new interface and tablet-like app ecosystem. There is finally an OS that integrates the ease of a tablet and the power of a PC. Its interface is nothing like we have ever seen before (on a PC atleast!). But there is a very annoying problem beneath all the glamorous new OS- its Metro Start Screen.
Over the years we have become accustomed to the classic desktop of the Windows family of Operating Systems. It is an ever-changing but forever constant frame through which we all look out to the hundreds of apps, games and websites. But all that has changed to something quite different with the new OS, WIndows 8. We understand the annoyance the new start screen presents to people whose daily routine starts with booting up their PCs and contemplating about the tasks of the day while looking at their favourite wallpaper. The Metro Start Screen is welcoming for a tablet and even for a phone, but not so much for a PC-user much like us.
So we will show you in this post how to change the inevitable. Inevitable here means upgrading to Windows 8, which we assume every Windows user will, unless he is fanatic about his current Windows desktop! You will be able to boot into the desktop view as you login and use the Start Screen when you want. Here are the steps-
First, Go to your startup folder whose path is
C:Users<User Profile>AppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuProgramsStartup
Then create a new shortcut with the following path
C:Windowsexplorer.exe shell:::{3080F90D-D7AD-11D9-BD98-0000947B0257}
Then name the shortcut as per your wish and finish creating the shortcut.
It is done!
Now reboot your PC to boot directly to your desktop!
