We do have some really rare moments when we go- Ha! Told Ya!! This is exactly one such moment. We posted last week about the release of iPad 3 on March 7th. And so it is being released today, right now!

And just as we had told, the specs are exactly the same. Moreover, Apple finally jumped the 3G barrier and has entered the 4G arena with the LTE model. The next Apple TV has also been announced, which now supports 1080p instead of the standard 720p till the last version.

But the predictions seemed too good to be true. We reported that the next processor, most probably called A5 will either be a dual-core or a quad-core processor. But as it has come out, the new processor is called A5X and it has a dual-core CPU and a quad-core GPU.

UPDATE- Apparently they forgot to find a name for the new iPad. So they are just calling it the ‘new iPad’!! That must be the most hilarious product I have ever heard about from Apple!
