In the recent past Samsung has been known to bond more with Android than with Windows phone, however Samsung has confirmed that it will manufacture devices that will contain Windows Phone 8 code-named Apollo.

Microsoft is expected to bring out the new OS by the 4th quarter. Samsung has cited that it has been looking forward to the launch of this new OS.

What it basically means for the users is that they can expect more hardware support from Samsung, better screens, multi-core processors and newer form factors.

Samsung says it looks forward to the integration of windows phone 8 and windows 8 as it is going to be beneficial in terms of manufacturing various tablets, smart phones and notebooks.

We can expect Apollo (Windows phone 8) to be present in our devices by the end of this year.
