PayPal, Opera and eBay today used the festive atmosphere at MWC to increase their service networks and promote them.
eBay has tied up with UK’s carrier Three which will now pre-install eBay’s apps in all the Android phones it sells. eBay has also teamed up with hotelier Yotel and an Iberian ticketing service to offer quick and easy payments.
Opera on the other hand has also launched OPX (Opera Payment Exchange) aiming to make commerce viable on any phone rather than just restricting to smart phones.
PayPal too has rolled out a new scheme to make payments via the internet easy. Every physical branch of PayPal will be able to handle payments from online agencies using a cellphone or card.
Once all this comes to activation, we can safely say that you can spend all your money sipping coffee in your home.
