Samsung has decided to launch a new low-end device named as the Galaxy Mini 2.It looks similar to its predecessor the Galaxy Mini S 5570. It has a slightly bigger screen and a nippier processor clocking at 800 Mhz.
The mini 2 sports a 480X320 (HVGA) resolution on a 3.3 inch screen. The mini 2 will also host the android gingerbread 2.3.4 or more as its OS. The phone features a 3 MP camera and 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity too , both of these being advancements over its predecessor. The design is minimalistic as one can expect with low end devices, however if you personally like the round edged looks then this phone will not disappoint you at all.
This phone does not feature any front facing camera and hence it might put off many potential customers in the US. Buyers in South East Asia particularly in countries like India will have to wait for its pricing. No dates have been announced yet by Samsung for the launch of this phone but we expect it to be launched by the first week of march in the US.
