Sony Xperia S Revealed

So, the wait is over and Sony has finally unveiled its new smartphone from Xperia NXT series, the Xperia S. Many leading mobile phone manufacturers are launching their most awaited products this year. So, Sony has taken the right step to beat the competitors.
The Xperia S will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread but it will be upgraded to Android ICS in next half of 2012. This device will feature a 4.3 inch LED back-lit HD display and Mobile Bravia Engine. People can take high quality images with the 12 MP rear facing camera. There are many optimizations made to the multimedia technologies in this device among which 16X digital zoom, 3D sweep panorama, Sony Exmor R CMOS censor and 1080p HD video recording are most important ones. The device is also NFC enabled.
This device boasts of taking the mobile gaming experience to the next level as Xperia S is a PlayStation certified device. You can also take advantage of Sony Entertainment Network by connecting the handset with TV through HDMI. The device comes preloaded with Music Unlimited which offers a global catalog of approximately 12 million songs.
The Xperia S is currently being exhibited at CES 2012 in Las Vegas and will hit the market in Q1 2o12. The final release date and price are still unknown.
